Lobel Events supplies and installs a range of temporary electrical power and lighting equipment on a full-service rental basis. The equipment is primarily deployed in special events applications staged outdoors, indoors or in temporary shelters such as marquees. Our equipment is drawn from our own inventory.
We hold an Electrical Contractor's Licence (EC 1105) and primarily rely on our in-house team of experienced electricians and technicians. Our equipment is provided on either a dry hire or full-service rental basis and drawn from our own inventory.
On occassions, we may sub-contract staff from one of our affiliated entities through its Electrical Contractor's Licence (EC 1105). Where it becomes necessary to supplement our workforce or equipment through sub-contract arrangements, we will:
Ensure that such sub-contractors provide a safe work method statement ("SWMS") for their specialised work;
Review and approve or request modification to their SWMS; and
Append the approved SWMS to this Plan.
If the sub-contractor is an employer, we will also ensure that evidence relating to a current workers' compensation insurance policy is provided by the sub-contractor and retained by Lobel Events.
